The moment you step into my atelier for a couture fitting, you enter a different world. A place where time slows down, and where every detail is created around you. Couture is never rushed — it unfolds over two to eight months — and that is precisely what makes it so special: the luxury of attention.
Planning Ahead
A gala, a wedding, a performance, or simply the desire for a one-of-a-kind piece… couture is about anticipation. Because every creation takes time, it is wise to begin early. That way, the process feels effortless, and the result is uncompromised.
From Vision to Design
Our journey starts with conversation. We talk, sketch, look at fabrics, and let ideas grow. Once the design feels right, I take your measurements and we create a toile — a prototype of your garment. Sometimes this is made from patterns, sometimes through moulage, draping fabric directly on the body until the silhouette feels alive.
A Private Space
Your fitting takes place in a private room at the back of the atelier. Soft carpet underfoot, a mirror to see your full silhouette, a comfortable bench to pause and reflect — it is a calm, intimate space designed for you to experience the process with ease.
The Rhythm of Couture
Most clients visit three to five times for fittings. Each visit refines the garment: adjusting proportions, perfecting the lines, choosing final finishes. Step by step, you see your garment evolve from an idea into a reality — one that belongs only to you.

How to prepare for a Fitting
For a fitting, it’s helpful to bring along a few essentials. A well-fitting bra – preferably new and supportive – together with neutral underwear or a nude slip will ensure that light fabrics fall beautifully. It’s also best to bring the heels you plan to wear with your outfit, so you can immediately see how the right height and posture influence the fit. When the fitting involves moulage, a close-fitting long-sleeved T-shirt and leggings are ideal to wear underneath the toile.
This isn’t just important for achieving the perfect fit, but also for making sure you feel comfortable in the fitting room. Small details – like the support of your bra or the height of your heels – make all the difference in creating the right silhouette.
